On behalf of the Nigerian Igbo Catholic Community (NICC), I warmly welcome you to our website. We are a religious-cultural organization, rooted in the Roman Catholic faith. We are a dedicated and growing private association of the Christian faithful seeking to all promote the Catholic faith and Igbo religious/cultural heritage among Igbo families in the Baltimore metropolitan area and beyond. As a private association of the Christian faithful within the jurisdiction of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Baltimore, our mission is to be a community where Igbo religious and cultural heritage, Catholic faith, family values, and morality come alive.
We strive to fulfill our mission and objectives through the celebration of the Holy Mass in Igbo language, stewardship, fellowship, and service. Together, we strive to be Catholic-focused in our belief and practice while promoting our Igbo religious/cultural heritage. We invite to join us and be part of our mission at our monthly Igbo Mass, NICCMO and NICCWO meetings as well as NICC Youth programs at NICC Center situated at 6508-6510 Old Harford Road, Baltimore, MD 21214. We presently celebrate Holy Mass in Igbo language on the last Sunday of every month at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church, which is located at 5401 Loch Raven Blvd, MD 21239.
Thank you,
Fr. Hamilton
