The Nigerian Igbo Catholic Community (NICC) of Baltimore is a dedicated group of Igbo Catholics committed to promoting Igbo culture and Catholic values among Igbo families in the archdiocese of Baltimore and its environs. Officially recognized by the Archdiocese of Baltimore in 2005 as an ethnic community of the Christian faithful, we seek to deepen the faith of our members and encourage active participation in our Catholic practices. The Archdiocese has been supportive in enhancing our mission and fulfilling both our spiritual and cultural needs.
Our mission is to cultivate unity and cooperation among Igbo Catholic families, foster active participation of Igbos in local parishes, and provide a spiritual home for Igbo Nigerian immigrants. We offer monthly Mass and promote cultural connectivity within the Archdiocese of Baltimore. Through our combined efforts and steadfast commitment to our mission and faith, we seek to create a lively and welcoming community that embodies the love and teachings of Jesus Christ.
The Nigerian Igbo Catholic Community (NICC) in Baltimore provides a spiritual home for Nigerian immigrants, offering Igbo Mass and fostering cultural togetherness. Join us in celebrating our faith and heritage.
